We're Moving

Symphony Arlington is pleased to announce that the orchestra will be moving to their new home, the Arlington Music Hall. Formerly known as the Johnny High Country Music Revue, the Arlington Music Hall will not only be home for the orchestra, it will also be the new location for our administrative office.

The newly renovated hall is part of a larger Downtown Arlington restoration project intended to revive the downtown area and provide a place where the Arlington community can gather.

Due to construction in other areas of the Arlington Music Hall, it is not yet open to visitors. We are open, so feel free to call 817-385-0484.

Join Symphony Arlington for "A Symphony for All Seasons". The October and November subscription programs will feature Grieg's In Autumn,  Piazzolla’s Buenos Aires Autumn, and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano.  The December and January concerts will offer Tyzik's The Twelve Gifts of Christmas, Tchaikovsky's "Winter Dreams" Symphony, and a suite from Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera The Snow Maiden.  Schumann's "Spring Symphony", Sibelius' Spring Song, and Johann Strauss II's Voices of Spring will be heard in February and March.  And, in April and May, the Symphony Arlington audience will be treated to Webern's Im Sommerwind, and Swedish composer Hugo Alfvén’s rollicking Midsommarvarka.  The season will conclude with Igor Stravinsky’s powerful and compelling work The Rite of Spring.

Along the way, the orchestra will also play selections from the many composers who have written music for all four seasons - not only Vivaldi's always popular Quattro Stagioni, but also works by Schumann, Haydn, Glazunov, and Debussy.
